Launched in 2021, Simone Cares is the program that supports Simone Pérèle’s social and environmental commitments.
Committed step by step
For 70 years, Simone Pérèle has remained true to the values it holds dear: kindness, tolerance, solidarity and humility. While we have never been one to jump on the bandwagon, we remain ever-attentive to social and environmental issues. In 2021, in recognition of the pressing nature of these challenges, we are launching our new Simone Cares program. Now more than ever, our unique history and values are our best assets for ensuring success.
Because our mission today is to give women the freedom to be themselves every day and because, now more than ever, giving meaning to our actions is vital, we have decided to support 3 different but complementary causes that provide comfort and confidence to the women who need it most.

Created in 2016 by Dr Ghada Hatem, La Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis cares for and accompanies women in difficulty or victims of violence. Attached to the Delafontaine Hospital, it offers comprehensive care for women in precarious situations through three care units: Family planning ; Female genital mutilation; Marital, intra-family, sexual and gender-based violence.
Patients also benefit from social and legal support, psycho-corporal care and numerous workshops to improve their self-esteem. Today, La Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis welcomes between 50 and 80 women per day and provides more than 15,000 consultations per year.
Our aim:Since 1948, Simone Pérèle has always been committed to women.
Our mission today is to give women the freedom to be themselves on a daily basis. This is why we have chosen to support the Maison des Femmes de Saint-Denis to give our support and confidence to women who need it the most.

We have joined forces with the humanitarian organisation CARE, which helps the most vulnerable communities across the world. Together, we are helping 105 schools and their communities in the Amoron’i Mania region of central Madagascar to access water, hygiene products and sanitation.
Our aim:Our aim is to protect the health of all, and in particular to help women and girls to maintain their personal hygiene when menstruating. Because they live in isolated areas, they do not have access to healthcare in the event of infection or illness.
Together, we fight against the period taboo (known locally as “Fadim Bolana”, with “fady” meaning “taboo”) which still marginalises women and prevents them from taking part in many activities.
Why Madagascar? We feel a particular affinity with Madagascar, a country where we have a production plant which primarily employs women.
We have donated more than 20,000 items of lingerie to Féminité Sans Abri, a French charity created in 2017 by Bordeaux native Lucie Sanchez, who wanted to restore some confidence and dignity to women in difficulty.
The association collects leftover stocks of hygiene products from all over France and redistributes them in wash bags to homeless women and students in precarious circumstances.
It is in this spirit of solidarity and sisterhood that our teams have set about selecting, sorting and packaging samples of our products that are not intended for sale.
Commitment No 3: Supporting everyday heroines through the Café des Femmes in Clichy
We have decided to work with the Café des Femmes in Clichy, the Paris suburb where our offices are located, to help local women fighting various battles.
On a voluntary basis, we offer them support from our employees, who share best practices from their respective fields of expertise or based on their life experience.
The aim is to share tips that could make a difference to the success of any project. In the autumn, a fitting session will be organised to help women rediscover and accept their bodies. The women of Clichy will have no excuse not to feel beautiful and confident!
For 7 decades, we have supported the creative professions that contribute to the unique elegance of our products, seeking out ethical and eco-friendly solutions that combine heritage with positive action.
Whether Calais lace workers or European embroiderers, all of these craftspeople help showcase the brand’s unique corsetry know-how and carry on the passion of a profession and the beauty of artisanal techniques.
On average, an embroidered or lace bra consists of 25 different parts.
As a result, making it 100% eco-friendly is an ambitious, perhaps even impossible challenge. Nevertheless, we believe lingerie can be as gentle on the environment as it is on the women who wear it, without sacrificing any of its sexiness.
LENZING™ ECOVERO® viscose is an environmentally friendly material produced from wood pulp. The wood used comes from sustainable and certified forests, and its processing into fibre follows strict standards imposed by the EU Eco Label. Compared to traditional viscose, water consumption and environmental impact are reduced.
What is Q-Nova ?Q-Nova fiber is a recycled fiber from production waste. It is environmentally friendly, its manufacturing process is reliable and certified, and its energy footprint is reduced.
Our eco-friendly product packaging and bags are made from 50% recycled paper and 100% recycled cotton, while our security tags are also made from 100% recycled paper.
Lastly, because another important form of action we can take is to produce less, we are doing as much as we can to reduce all packaging that is not absolutely essential to meet hygiene requirements and protect our collections.
