• How to stay calm & zen?

     

    Sedentary lifestyle, homeworking, sitting posture...

    More than a month after the beginning of confinement, our body is under pressure.

    Here's my tips:

    CONTAINMENT TEST
    - LUCILE WOODWARD'S ADVICE -

    Lucile gives us a few tips on how not to go around in circles and how to take advantage of this period to feel better about yourself.
    Follow the few simple but effective tips to stay active without doing 3 hours of sport every day!

    1. STRETCH REGULARLY

    Normally, I recommend including one stretching session per week. But in times of confinement, I recommend that you stretch a little each day when you wake up. You can do sun salutations or gentle mobility stretches for 15 minutes, it's very good for waking up the body. And once a week, long stretches for 45 min - 1 hour, to release deep tension.

    2. BREATHING

    The anguish of the epidemic, the lack of relatives, the fear of losing one's job... Many situations can make us anxious at the moment. In these moments, we can take a breather to calm down. Close your eyes and breathe in for a long time, block your breathing for 5 seconds, then exhale all the air. Repeat several times.

    3. MEDITATION

    To go even further in breathing and serenity, meditation is a very useful tool. The goal is not to empty the mind, but simply to reconnect in the present moment, without worrying about the future. You can help yourself with guided meditation applications if you have never meditated before.
